Help ! De-leveling leaf is *gone* !

Okay.. deleveled to 55 to AA and level a cleric, went to turn in the leaf, had a blonde moment and said "60" before I turned in the leaf. I heard the "ding" of leveling up, pissed myself, stayed at level 55, and the leaf disappeared without my touching it...help? I dun wanna level all over again =/

As an afterthought, I *do* have level 70 spells scribed, as well as AA's & gear as proof that I actually was 70, if it's needed.

Honestly, don't really understand how you lost your leaf, players usually confess if they give it to wrong npc ,) but I'll fix it anyways.

No, I definitely had the right dude targeted. I had a blonde moment, like I said, and already being deleveled, told him "60". I heard the ding as if I had leveled, went to check something in the inventory, and noticed I was still 55. Looked for the leaf in the inv, and lo and behold, it was gone. So yes, it was my error.

ok, not sure still how that could happen, since worst case you would get a duplicate item error msg if you try to delevel more than once, and the leaf would still be in your inventory. I'll look into it anyways.
