Frozen Savagesoul Armor

Noticed some inconsistencies in this armor set:

-Sandals have a 2hb mod. This should either be 1hb or h2h - I don't know of any BLs who use 2hb. It appears on other class armor sets that it is a mod applicable to the epic 1.5/2.0, so it should be 1hb.

-Gloves appear to have been given a focus, but it isn't properly linked. I'm going to guess it should have been ferocity v or cleave v.

on 2hb: ehem, you aware that with comparable ratios, a BST can produce DOUBLE amount of dps with a 2handed weapon than when dual wielding?

The lack of double attack (via aa only) makes me skeptical about that, but I'll grab a 2hb and try it out.

ah but thats exactly why 2handed weapons are superior for BST!

since you lack natural DA, when you get an extra attack from AA - it ONLY applies to main hand. Which means if you are DW you will go from 2 strikes to 3, but with 2hander you go from 1 strike to 2.

So let say you DW pair of 20/20 weapons vs a 60/30 2hb
Before that extra attack, they are more or less equal, but with extra attack, it becomes:
3x 20/20 vs 2x 60/30

These numbers of course are an approximation, but this is the general idea.
Of course at foundation of these estimates lies the condition that you have a comparable 2handed weapon.

I don't want to get too into this, but a quick test on vlad shows that you can double attack from the offhand. I unequipped my haste items and mainhand (so punch is mainhand, crush is off) and click off haste so that the offhand would hit about every 2 sec if it fired.

Edit: As expected, more swings = more panther procs.

strange thing that just recently I was looking into if extra AA atack affects the off-hand the description specificaly stated its not. hmm..

yes the procs you get from buffs benefit from greater number of swings.
the procs from weapons on other hands, more common from slower weapons, to balance this off
