Active Antithesis Residue

I believe we figured out the issue with GM Ydiss.

I asked for more feedback from you Freydis because we had to spot the issue, not because I "didn't bother". First wave of testing and player feedback made it clear, the item is dropping.

The process you are doing helped us understand that you are hoping for the antithesis from a proc effect, assuming you are referring to the spell Storm of Dranik, where the spell description says "Storms created by Dranik protect you from spells and provide you a combat effect that stuns, damages and increases the hate of your target. This effect has a small, added bonus of antithesis."

Antithesis effect never triggered from procs and never will due to server code limitations (would be bad anyway considering proc rates). Saying that it was working before simply means you were either using the antithesis given as part of the zone quest line or any other item that cast it (click effect, not a proc).

So the issue in this case is the spell description which is indeed misleading. This is true BTW for all procc effects that states the same. This is our fault and the 'description bug' will be fixed eventually.

On a side note, keep in mind Freydis you are playing a free game made by enthusiasts and treating them like shit won't help (it doesn't work anywhere else either). Try to be nice and helpful when you are actually asking for help yourself.

I have something to add! This may be middle ground or explain where there is some confusion.

Over the weekend I got so many of these to drop I logged in every toon that could get into Nobles and looted them. I can't tell you how many ended up just being rot. After I got them on everyone I quit even bothering with the clickies on the trash mobs while I was killing PH to get the power sources (additional feedback below).

Group is as follows - Othofrako, Nizzy, Ryack, Knux, Aldus, Aprill. My hotkey bar for the clickes is not bound to any key, meaning I have to move my mouse and actually click the button. While doing trash mobs I would randomly get the emote about Antithesis. There was never a set amount of these random emotes, it was one to three emotes but never more than three. It was when I got the residue to actually drop when I wasn't clicking anything that was the real headscratcher. I can verify they have dropped with out clicking anything now, to my knowledge I do not have anything with a proc effect mentioned above that could do this.




Additional Feedback - Camping mobs in Nobles the last time I had to camp something like that on THF was when I was doing Headhunter back in 2012. Difference here that it appears there are different PH through out the zone that can spawn what you are looking for. It can be a real challenge to get over to the south west corner of the zone if the Raging Feran decides he wants to pop over there. Especially with Viaon's Murkgliders in the way.
