How large of an interest is there in an actual reset category? It’s pretty doable from a code standpoint (most support is already there)

As for blocking specific things like tokens, that would be easy enough as well.

What would you guys choose to see if this came to pass? Full reset at level 1? All items (minus donors) stripped?

What would you deem a “worthy” prize for such a cost?

Well I'd suggest three reset categories:

1. Reset all flags...makes characters go back and do tier advancement the hard way
2. Strip all levels...not too bad, with the right power level team you could get back to 70 in a few hours...maybe trivial.
3. Strip all AAs...now this would really hurt especially for those who have all those extra AAs necessary for maxing out advancement...who have followed the Mystical Kitty Pathway.

I'd suggest augs commensurate with the effort:

For stripping all levels, hmm something like the top AC type 16 aug from HoH that would fit in a type 8 slot.
For resetting all flags, something as good as if not better than a fully evolved Tangy Caramel Apple
As for getting 20,000+ AAs all over again, I suggest an illusion that makes you look like a dead Wile E. Coyote

The 1st 2 wouldn't be so bad except for having to get 18 to 24 Emp Ssara keys again which alone is worth some kind of nice item. Given my hatred of the zone nothing less than a 100ac 500/500 every slot equipable aug. Not quite Leaf of Hidden Forest level but damn close. For number 3 I am not sure I would even do it but a good stat item(HoH/VT level? depending on amount of AAs) with a clickable illusion would be cool. If MK did it I would say she needs an artifact lol.

Level 4: its all gone. Flags, AAs, Levels, items minus donors. A lowly level 1 that is just starting. - I am not sure I would ever do this even with the amount of donor gear I roll around in but the reward would have to be something to the level of Luclin rares approaching on donor item level if you were T9+ with a Talriem or Luclin kill. Scale it back depending on AA/flag level or maybe an evolving item that increases in power/effects as you get higher up the flagging steps finally reaching the Luclin max power.

I used to hate SSRA just because I get so lost lol. Still do sometimes but it's not as bad. Over all I don't think the emp key is all that bad. You'd be amazed at everything I've done on THF 1 million times over helping other . Yet, gearing and auging is by far the worst punishment to me over all.

An option to reset once reaching the very top? I'd say a free donation item of your choice would be suitable motivation

And a prestige title like "Overlord of the Grind Champions".

perhaps in some zone there could be a wall with suits of armor mounted and named after those who have shed their gear/AAs/Flags so young players could go into the hallowed halls and admire the amazing grinding represented....

Me personally would want to just wipe flags out and start over raid tiers. Having it to where you can just remove Gear and flags or start at lvl 1 would be a good option.

Look at it this way Dusta you will have a lot of people at tier 1 and working upward to play with.

Oh and the reward should be donor quality. Not necessarily a current donor item but something on that level.
