The Hidden Forest

What is the drop rate on this? I've been killing the Final Arbiter daily for the last couple of weeks and never seen it...Be nice to know what my odds are unless it's been removed?

Surmise you have a 2/5's chance per kill.

Though I cant remember the last time I killed him and didnt get 2x of the same item so maybe a 20 percent chance?

I'm not huge on math though.

The 100% only means you get one of these 5 items.
From this boss you get 2 items.

Tho you dont know the exact droprate (%) of each item on this loottable.
Per example: 4 items can have 24% dropchance and the Claw 4%.

Yeah as Tristhan says, each item on the list can have it's own drop chance, so I'm guessing it's pretty low for the claw.

Hrm.. I assumed since it was broken down in % chance of drop that it was an equal chance to drop based on what subset it was posted under.

Do you guys know that each item has a unique probability or is that what you suspect?

I really don't know. I always thought items of each subsection held equal probability of being selected. I would've guessed this aug was 1/5. Anecdotal evidence... the Lady M orb certainly doesn't seem to drop as often as that logic would suggest, so you guys may very well be right. Just wondering if anyone *knows* knows.

as a person who actually worked with DB - it can be set anyway devs like
It can be: A 50% and B 50% or A 99% and B 1%

I know some people who know.. but I doubt they will enlighten us


Each piece could have its own percentage chance to drop, that's for us. I know I've killed Lady M quite a bit and never seen the coth orb either. I've also killed Final Arbiter quite a bit and only seen that claw once...

I'm unsure how eqemu does it though so I cant really say.

I'll stick with my "Random is Random" statement... but might change it to "Random is Random unless acted upon by hidden percentages"

Claw is his uncommon drop but i wouldnt call it rare (10% vs 18% drop chance).

Would item-specific drop rates be something you guys would be willing to implement into the Alla Clone?
