SK Donor Sword 2.0

Is it just me, or is the description on the sword incorrect? It says it's a 650 lifetap proc buff off clicky, but after sorting through the battle spam it appears to be a 3200 lifetap (that crits for 6400). I understand I have all the focuses + SK aas that increase LT proc damage, but I severely doubt it would make that large of a difference in the damage Also, the improved HT proc does 8k damage (16 with crit), but my improved HT AA click does 32k non-crit.

Had been using the donor 1.0 for the longest time because I thought a 650pt tap was pretty subpar in comparison to the 1500/tic clicky from 1.0, until for the heck of it I swapped it out to parse the damage difference. Wish I had known this all along, because my cleric has the donor weapon that does a fairly good job of keeping my groups HP healed/cured, and the clicky for sk donor 2.0 has been a pretty sizable boost to my tanking abilities

Also, the description on donor aura says some obscenely large amount of AC buff (1500-2500ish?) but actually adds much much less on my tank with #mystats (the AC actually doesn't show up in the normal UI at all, but that's just a seperate issue (UF client)).

+2000 HP v2 and +820 AC v2 (stack with all other HP and AC increases).

Makes sense That's what I figured it was (didn't do the math from what I saw in #mystats, I have my Fenkenn slave cast it on me before big boss fights...). Just noticed that the in game, non mq2 description said some stupidly large amount of AC. Maybe I just have a somewhat borked spell desc. file?

First of all can't really go after the description, either look for the info you get from MQ2 or check in clone.

Not sure if its a DB fluke on the site or not according to the site Yaulp VII for paladins is given 100 AC in game however its more like 30 AC.

You'll find your donor sword lifetap proc is enhanced from Focii & AA's. The focii are really really strong.

Is that really it? -_- From 650 damage to 3200? Sheesh. I may abandon my AC augs for more lifetap augs then.

I'm not 100% about this, and maybe someone else can confirm, but I wouldn't get rid of those AC augs just yet, especially not for things like Pointed Blades or Curse of the Vampires.

The donor wep proc is classified as a lifetap:

webtools/spell.php?id=9681

Which will be subject to all your AA's boosting lifetaps, etc.

Whereas something like the Curse of the Vampire proc:

webtools/spell.php?id=9081

or Pointed Blade proc:

webtools/spell.php?id=8640

Is a magic DD with a heal recourse, and so I believe won't be subject to all the same boosts. It will still get thunder focus for damage and healing focus for heals, but it won't be quite as drastic an increase as the donor wep proc was.

Something with lifesap though, like sacred bones from Vistrinda has this proc:

webtools/spell.php?id=8637

Which should get all of your boosts and be much more powerful. Just wanted to point out that I don't think it will work with all "lifetap" augs, so be careful!

Aye, was looking very carefully at augs for that purpose. Before I farm/buy any augs I'mma look it up on the clone to see if it's classified as an actual "lifetap" and not a magic DD with a heal recourse.

Still shocked that foci and AAs boost LT procs that much.
