Vt loot table

Hi,

I have no problems with the same loot table in vt, but the quality is really bad and the balance of the loot is awefull.

On the 27 loots 6 are weapons, i don t think that a lot of players farming dsk3 or vt are still using non donor weapons.
I think that havinga separate loot table for weapons with 25% chance of drop would be awesome.

On the 21 loots left 11 are casters only... 2 tank only and some effect are so great

We are just starting to farm vt and we have already most of the stuff rotting basicly everything.

Here is my suggestion:
- change a bit the loot table
- weapons on alternate loot table with 25% drop
- 2 augments per named
- 15% chance on class item drop
- 25% on last one
- 10% chance of ultra rare on last one and 5% on every other named.

Clearing vt isn t hard (thx sian for the help) it takes 2 hours and after 10 time you are spending 2 hours for like 5% chance of getting a good item...

I don't think that s the point of the game.

Droprate :
Well I won't come back to my opinion about % loot table (rare/class) since my opinion is known already.

Loots :
About normal loots in general there (not talking about class or rare), I personally think that :
- casters' loots are pretty nice with the different worn 2 (shield/Wand/shoulders)
- tanks' loots are nice (especially gloves, helm is ok)
- priests' loots are not really interesting
- melees' loots are nice (neck and ring)

So maybe some could use love indeed.

Now when you say that loot is rotting Usi, it's mainly because your toons are melee dps with full donors, so it partially explains that. As for myself, most of the time now stuff is rotting too (besides armor) since I have far less donors than you (mostly one weapon per toon). But its true that you quickly gather normal loot since it's all shared which has its pros and cons.

Difficulty :
About the difficulty of the zone, well, I wouldn't say that "it's not hard". When you know strategy and have the tanking and dps, it's fine to clean it indeed. I could say the same about DSK3 and yet, guilds are struggling there to figure out and beat encounters.
But figuring out strategies of phase 1 boss / phase 2 1st and 2nd boss and phase 3 took some time. You skipped that long and harrasing part thanks to my help which I was very happy to give (I got some too in my time).
That won't be the case of everybody on the server, and not everybody on the server have your tanking/dps force : probably with Nemen the #1 monk, #2 rogue, #3 bard, #3 SK and so on...

What I mean is that when you reached a certain point there (and I wish good luck to "normal" toons there because even clearing CY is hard), it's not too hard indeed but hell I wouldn't want it to be harder because of the low droprate of rare/class items.
I'm spending 2h there just for them, and I wouldn't spend longer if it was still the same. I wouldn't bother going there then.

Now, just know about droprates, that many things will come live when V has time : potion, worn2 and such to increase droprates. Of course, you could just pump up all droprate. That's a choice that has been made. End of story I guess on that part.

Nice loot table with 7 loots on 27 that have an interest!

Get weapons outside loot table would be a good start, upgrade some items would be better.

If you are in Phase 2/3, I would not worry about the normal loot table. Very quickly it will all be rot if you are farming for the class items and you won't care if weapons drop.

The augs and rare loot tables are another issue but it has been brought up before.
