Any way the drop rate of this item (http://www.thehiddenforest.org/webtools/connections.php?item=122666) can be reviewed? Currently it is 25% from a spawned named of the trash (10-25% spawn rate I'm guessing) when a token required for the same armor piece is 100% off a named raid mob.

To be fair, the respawn rate of the trash is pretty crazy... You shouldn't have a problem getting the etched patterns unless you have terrible luck getting the minis to spawn. Most people skip all the trash too, at least it makes them worth killing if people who skip VT turn-ins wish to upgrade.

By VT I meant DSK3

Seemed like the idea was to make it kind of a hassle to upgrade to lucid armor if you skipped DSK3. I personally kinda like it. Like a reward for completing that zone.

It is already a hassle as you have to re-aug where as with the dsk3 armor upgrade you do not.

Clearing for the one or two mobs in the first hall I would see maybe one named off of the trash and then most often times did not see the pattern.

Did a quick clear of the rooms around Talriem last night - 2 named spawns - no patterns.

The patterns and signets both dropped from the named in DSK3 so the only item that you needed was the bloods and when the guild was killing in there we would see 3-6+ bloods per boss 3 and 4 kill.

I've found a majority of my etched patterns in the beginning courtyard ... In fact, I can't even clear half the courtyard without getting named, and several cases where I spawn two named in the same pull. Should try clearing there for some
Can't really compare it to DSK3 either... you basically get the bloods for doing the bosses because there is no trash in the zone. VT is a little different in that you actually have to go out of your way to get the minis to spawn. Sure, it's a little more challenging to get the gear since you skip DSK3, but I wouldn't qualify re-auging as a hassle, especially with how easy it is to get some HoH augs to put in there. Idk, just my opinion... never really thought about the drop chance when I was looking for some.

This right here would be nice, for you still need to farm trash items for mats to combine's but your not stuck with just praying on a mini to pop then your 25% to drop. I for one am not lucky and clear some trash every vt clear see maybe 1-3 minis and rarely get 1 pattern to drop as were as stated the runes from the boss's have been rotting for awhile dropping 100%

Having them on the raid mobs would be great as well. I am open to alternatives and again just a request to review the drop rate, if the devs decided that the pattern would be the sticking point for upgrades that is fine.

I have never had much luck in any of the areas with concerns to drops -- I am not sure I ever saw them in the courtyard and spent a few weeks out there killing for keys. Maybe I am just the unlucky one. I did see more in the 2nd hall then anywhere else.

As far as the augs being a hassle that would be up to how the gear was augmented to begin with. Been slowly replacing quite a few of the HoH augs with all the other available augs

Can the drop rate be looked into? It seems like the drop rate is on the low side. Been clearing courtyard 2 evenings in a row, and have only managed to see 1 drop.

Added the pattern to VT phase 1 bosses (reboot needed).
