I was hanging out with Nigrog tonight on a Chardok run and we got to talking about Roguish things. Seems his max crit backstab with dagger fall is 4k and change with a damage base of 50. My max crit backstab with daggerfall is 13k and change with a damage base of 53.

I think this may be related to this thread when we talked about Ifir backstabbing so low. With Ifir it wasn't so critical, but we're talking a donator weapon here this time ... Might want to look a bit deeper into the issue maybe.

Btw, my new all time low backstab with Ifir (base damage 54) is now 171 damage with daggerfall on

4560 to be exact. It hasn't got anything to do with the AA's either as I've been aquiring several new ones and no changes have come about. (Not to mention Veteran's Wrath is apparently non functional yet as I have 2 ranks and no changes have happen.. eek!) I appreciate any investigating you guys can do! I know how tough it can be to find the source sometimes so I won't nag too much!

Ok - when you write my max Backstab is 13k , what weapon are you using, the 2.0 or the Ilfir? Just so i know which weapon works correctly. I will replace the Rogue Donator weapon then with a working template.

Damage numbers come from Vlar, the uber zombie.

Ifir max crit daggerfall is 4,960 ... 48 + 6(augs) = 54 base
2.0 max crit daggerfall is 13,270 ... 44 + 9(augs) = 53 base
I don't have a donator Rogue weapon ... 50 base

Ifir and donator Rogue weapon are the ones with the incorrect damage ... and I stress only in backstab damage. Their DPS is reporting correct, I'm sure of it. Ifir and 2.0 should roughly be the same and I'd estimate donator should be around ... 11.5k?

Both fixed - i found a hidden field named Backstab Damage, which was set way too low

Let's see the DPS skyrocket

ps.. does this take a server restart? Granted I only killed 15 mobs, I parsed for a bit and my backstab crit WITH daggerfall is actually lower now. (3202). I realize it's not a fantastic test but I have to go to school and will be able to do more testing this evening if Hans has not done so by then.
