Bonus on Damage Augs

Hello,

Any way some of the Tier 8 / Tier 9 damage augs can be looked at to include Backstab, Frenzy, etc.? I don't see BS damage listed on augs in the clone so can only look at ones I have.

Looking at the donor augs you can get 105 or 95 BS with them

I think the highest 2 augs droppable are 25 and 27. Quite a few have nothing or are at 10-15.
122237 - Emblem of piercing darkness - T9 aug - 16 base / 0 BS
123353 - Piercing Ice Tear - T9 aug - 25 base / 0 BS
120996 - Sacred Dragon Bones - T8 aug - 15 base / 0 BS

122820 - Orange Lucid Stone - T9 2H only - 45 base / 0 Frenzy
123354 - Giant Ice Tear - T9 2H only - 50 base / 0 Frenzy
122236 - Emblem of Shattering Darkness - T9 2H only - 36 base / 0 Frenzy

Some of the T9 weapons dropped an aug slot (4 to 3) which already makes it harder to get some of these stats.

Hi,

I kinda disagree on puting special attack on those augments even if i play a trio monk/zerker/rogue

I think that the dsk2 and dsk3 specific augments could get +25 piercing damage, hand to hand damage, +1hs or 2h slashing damage but melee dps are already dps/tank monsters.

Another thing is that you already have bs damage on belt, helm, back...and rogue and ranger are the only melee dps class that can use their class item. And rogue is the only class that get special attack bonus everywhere...

Rogue donor dps is over 3 million/second, dont think the class need more special attack damage without compromising the game balence.

The BS dmg on things other than your knife don't show any real difference. On my rogue it makes next to no difference in dps whether I have the class shoulder item on or nothing on at all in the slot. However, If you add an aug that boosts even 10 BS dmg on your knife you will be able to tell. It may not be about the knife itself, it may be about what item has the most BS on it.

We all know that melee numbers that rank in the "millions" are also only obtainable once you acquire a certain non-donor rare item, that happens to benefit non-magic users exclusively. Not everyone has that either. But that item combined with all other donor items added up to create anyone's total output probably shouldn't be a factor for deciding regular gameplay balance.

Stock rogues are not really that flashy.

The donor item just amplify the classes.

Rogue was always the highest dps donor and non donor, i don t understand why the class should get in every general augment a special attack boost.
Even on specific piercing augment i think that + piercing damage would be better.

The request is for those non-donor people to be able to obtain a portion of the damage a multiple donor character can do. 10 - 15, or 0 in the case of the augs listed, BS damage compared to 95 or 105 is quite the difference.
My rogue - http://www.thehiddenforest.org/webtools/magelo.php?character=Iinx has never hit for 1 million with as many debuffs / buffs that I can muster.

Unless the devs decide donor items are required the dropped items should at least continue to be upgrades. The VT weapons all drop an aug slot from DSK3 / HoH which affects melee. Then if you are forced to go with either base damage or BS damage augs just seems like they could be reviewed.

As far as game balance goes, ask anyone that played a wizard/bard duo 6-7 years ago where they stand now or a non-donored melee toon compared to any pet class with donor pet.
