Bard Donor Wep

I've come to realize that it is impossible to click the effect on the Bard Donor Wep while singing. Bards use #melody to twist their songs and sing constantly, but while they're singing they are completely unable to use clickie items. Is there a way to fix this? If not, it's been suggested that the buff duration of Firedance is increased drastically so you only have to click it once. It is a 3min buff with a 3min recast time (you can have the buff on constantly), so I don't think it would be hugely overpowering the item to enable users to only have to click it once every hour or so and eliminate micromanaging their bards even more. If anyone else has any input on this please feel free to share. Thank you for your time.
