Type 8 augs were always considered raid gear augs, and the Muramite armor was Qvic raid armor about 6 years ago, but on THF its pretty much 2-6 man group gear. Yut it still holds the type 8 raid slot.

Could you consider changing the Muramite (Icewell) armor to slot type 7 instead of 8, as this would make logical sense to do so, since its pretty much your last tier of "group" armor until you need a raid or a solid well geared/AA group to upgrade them?

Type 8 augs are far and few before the zones beyond the Muramite armor dropping zones, and you actually LOSE hp/mana upgrading from Chaotic with full seb augs into Muramite with no augs, this doesnt make much sense to downgrade while you are trying to upgrade.

This would be a good change that makes sense in gear progression.

Actually I would rather them keep the armor as is, and instead change most of the augments that drop in Seb and Nagafen's to be like the ones (Chatoic Life Shard, Chaotic Combat Token, Chaotic Resistance Fragment, Chaotic Stone of Sturdiness) that drop in Karnors, CoM, and Guk which is type 7/8 so they fit either.

These are the type 7's which should be changed to 7/8

Caster's Stone
True Stone
Beauty Stone
Blue Stone
Avoidance Stone
Health Stone
Defense Stone
Calm Stone
Shielding Stone
Accuracy Stone
Combat Stone
Spell Shielding Stone
Ferocity Stone

Dodge Stone

These are the type 8's that drop in Seb and Nagafens and should stay just Type 8

Sixth Sense
Five Friends
Four Forests
Nine Nights

I think there are 2 or 3 more types 8's that drop in those zones but can not seem to find them.

I also prefer the second option and will most probably do it soon. Thanks for the suggestion from both of you.
