Any chance the cooldown on this thing be reduced to half? Given the difficulty of the named... one hour cd kinda makes this semi-useless (IMHO):

If that's too much to ask, how about making it face equippable instead? I mean there are already a TON of range slot items in ToV & ST (especially ST). Not enough face items though (rare drop).

What do other people think that already own this item?

I think it's useless either way. The haste is so high that it actually SLOWS you instead of hasting you. Imo, to make it useful I would reduce the CD some, improve the rune, and get rid of the haste all together. I had it for months before I stopped playing, and i used it once only to see that it made me hit as slow as a slug moves.

Come to think of it, epic 1.5 are also ranged slot equippable, including some ToV/ST weapons. Basically all the range item drops in ST have been rotting for us (awhile now)and they are close to guaranteed drop from each warder. Face items though, never seen one drop in ST yet (and I only know 2 from NToV, which are also rare).

Check my wiz Khelann, he still wears the one from that quest in Karnor's Castle (Iksar clicky) LOL.

-EDIT- Jeido, I didn't pay close attention to the haste part that actually slows you down... how about an increased crit-chance modifier instead of overhaste?

Most just end up with a nicely augged mask of the dark fairy anyway

^ I've never seen that drop out of so many times we killed the warders... Smolder and the Red Resistance Stone drops about 4 out 5 kills (sometimes we see pants, saw only one time earring dropped). What about melee masks though? The stats on Animal Power is well suited... it could nicely fill the void of melee/dps masks from ToV/ST.

I know the mask of the dark fairy is uber and it blows away anything from Tier1-5. But, what about for people who play casually and don't have the time to camp/track all those mobs in the Headhunter quest?

I definitely agree with the mask slot idea, too. There's a serious shortage in raids, and that's no secret. I got lucky and got a mask of the sky on my first eashen kill, but then didn't see another for many many kills. That's the best mask until Fennin too, for a tank at least.

That's the point of rare loot (Eashen Mask). I will change the Animal Power to Face, too.

About the Can of Woop'Ass - actually i was under the impression the spell didn't work at all. I will look at it later today and make it earn its name (if that makes sense to anyone beside me, ha!)

Animal Power is face usable now.

Fennin drops a good tank mask??? I've been wearing the Eashen mask for ever. I had given up on upgrading before finishing the HH quest.
