Just wanted to comment to say, I'd personally be a fan of removing the need for coffins. This isn't a comment as a dev, I just always hated coffins. For a while, mana dumping and corpse summoning was my class defining ability;(

Ya me too.
On EQLive this was necessary to make corpse runs harder etc. Or Symbol Spells expensive for clerics (back when they needed peridots). Enchanters still need peridots for their runes.
If it is possible, i'd rather see the component required to cast such spells erased, too.
Will check it out and let you know.
