Hiya Tyler,

It is possible to see a back slot added to "Shield of the sleeper" ?

It is a very good shield (not so easy to get) and we need to drop it if we want to improve some True focus without going trough LDONs (ex: Bulwark of Shimmering Order - sec only but a nice focus)

It would allow to put sleeper shield instead of "Shield of the Morning Dew" as a back slot for ST geared / PoAir toons. (Kinda sad to have to bag Sleeper shield and keep moring dew in back slot once you upgrade)

Ps: did not have the chance to get an anniversary shield atm.

Oh that would be awesome... I have Sleeper's shields in all my caster's bags. I refuse to use it on both my cleric & shaman because Vulak's shield looks very cool with the particle effects (even though I'm missing out on 200+mana)... and I'm all about style

Personally I find it more shocking that there is a real lack of high ac shields that tank classes are able to equip in the back slot. Somewhere fragile casters gained this ability to wear huge plates of steal on their back and tank classes are left with low ac options. Casters have a few options available giving high ac on a back slot but none that I have been able to find for tank classes.

Well, aside from making it back equippable, why not also make Sleeper shield war/sk/pally usable too? (like the Vulak Shield)

How about a tradeoff... remove the nuke clicky for the changes we are wishing for? Doubt they'll change it though since it's not "broken".

Many people would kill you if removed that clicky LOL, Im sorry tho after thinking about it, my post didnt really help your cause at all tho I do wish a few back options were available for tanks in the form of shields starting in tov/sleepers.

LOL clicky is nice, but really... it is kinda overpowered anyway (my 2cents) since healing classes can take advantage of it. I believe in fair trade... if we ask for something, the devs should take something back in return. If we want it back-equippable & tank-usable, I'd be very comfortable about taking the clicky out as a tradeoff.

OP? Isn't it on a 20min CD or something? 20k dmg every 20min is far from OP ><

Doesn't it get affected by focus, crit chance, etc? Didn't know the timer is 20 mins or something LOL... like I said, I don't use it =X

-edit- it's a fire based DD (-300 resist check), with true fire focus, and high crit chance... it can do a lot of damage. Even healers have easy access to fire-based focus on their ToV/ST gear.

Except "Cape of Flames" there is no back item before T5.
Cape of Flames has the same focus than ToV arms (never understood why ToV arms had chaotic Focus on them btw instead of Elemental gear only).

I mean that except the focus on it (that we already had since ToV arms), this cape is not a good upgrade from "shield of morning dew" (25Mana/+2 manaregen).

In conclusion, even my main Lylo (wiz) still wears the Shield of morning dew and will have to bank Shield of the sleeper once i get a PoAir shield for focus (if we consider not everyone do ldon which is an optional way from raiding to get really good gear with high end focus).

That's my point.

^ Yah, my wiz has the PoAir shield also (with that very nice focus), that's why the Shield from the warder is on the backslot.
