Ive been shrugging this off for a while now, and I think it should be addressed.

This ring is a very needed item, at least for me, and other tanks in my guild. The clicky defensive disc sometimes chooses not to work. And it does not feel good to be tanking some of these VP boss's, or any boss, and feel like your flipping a coil. Heads the clicky works, tails it does not.

Here is the situation i am usually in when it goes buggy.

If my warrior dies for some reason, and I am rezzed in, when I click it, it usually does not work. Main Source of Bug.

Its a lot less common for it to bug, after no circumstance. I.E. Just log in, fighting a boss, use clicky. It usually works, but like I said it will do it even then, every now and then.

I know for a fact other's have th same issue. Maybe not everyone but there are other's. I use titanium client if that helps, Not sure what Grey uses, but he has the same issue

Ive had the same issue using both SoD and Titanium, was hoping it was a client issue so tried siwtching it up and no luck. I have also had this issue with the Ring of the clawed Guardian where after clicking it, it just wont work.

I havent really ever payed attention to the specifics of what was going on each time it failed on me, mostly because it was always during the middle of combat, but ill start logging each event and maybe it can help.

I can tell you that if you try to activate a clicky in this case the ring during the time you are stunned it will not work.

Yeah for sure, I am aware of that thanks for responding Nexor. But this is definitely not what myself and others are experiencing.

aye its not a stun being an issue i have watched closely for that and im well aware of that mechanic (gg MoTG First attempts when i didnt realize he stunned)

Im sure you aware that while the graphic refreshes when you zone the timer does not. However, trying to click a disc after you are rezed in may not work because it requires stamina, also I noticed you box a monk - the monks aura of speed can prevent discs from landing, as well as being silence/stun'd as Nexor mentioned.

Also note: Ring of the Clawed Guardian shares a recast timer with several items, type 8s i believe.

again i know about the recasts and such, its literally an issue where it is not on cool down and i go to click it and it uses the cool down and nothing happens.

There is no conflict that SHOULD exist when this happens, weather its a lag issue or not im unsure, but im pretty careful of making sure i dont accidently waste a cool down by popping something earely or w/e

Devs Imput would be great

I think this was discussed before, not much we can do with this issue, if you use the clicky 2properly", it shouldn't bug out. And the term "proper" was described by Jeido in some older post afaik.

As always, we put this to the todo list and will see what we can do.

responding, I use titanium 90% of the time and Seeds 10% of the time and have had issues both.

No other disc is up to block it. (1)

Not currently being stunned however in the case of vp its only happening to me against those named that stun. Annoys me because after I am stunned I move around, like actually move around, novel idea that, move and make sure you are no longer stunned. (2)

I only once made the mistake of using a clicky that shared reuse with something else. ended up being an item with a 24hr cooldown so I deleted it. I have since deleted or banked any and every clicky on warrior that shares cool downs. I only carry the ones I use. None of my "help me tank" clickies share a timer. (3)

It sucks this happens and I know it prob cant be helped. cheers
