Haunted Weapons

These weapons are way OP compared to the weapons "besides donator" currently available in game. 11 more damage than that of highest droppable non event weapons. Past event/anniversary weapons were on par with the current available weapons or just a tad better but 11 damage above whats currently available is a bit much imo.

Given the difficulty of obtaining these weapons - id sya they are right where they need to be - and more so by the fact that i htink its safe to say the only one i have seen being sold/traded is the 2hander - so its not like the market is inundated with overly powerful weapons either.

The difficulty card was played on previous event mobs etc when we were talking about just a few points of damage and changes were still made regardless of the difficulty, now were talking about 11 damage above whats currently available thats way way OP and should be seriously looked at. Lets not forget all the hard work that goes into your epic ....not to be shadowed by a dropped weapon. Some comparisons honestly need to be made here.

given that the epics only require t3 access i think its safe to say they will be shelved for a lot of people soon enough - esp with epic 3.0s on the way soon. The people who are receiveing these items at this point too are for the most part already shelving their 2.0s or putting them in different slots just for stats - i know myself have had my 2.0 on my back slot since tier 4. honestly looking at the weapons i see them as DS quality loot - top end DS but definately DS yes they are better than most of whats available for MOST people right now but overall i say they are very solid items, that really shouldnt be touched much if any.

"If" you were not using a donator, and "If" you were not using a haunted weapon, you would not have your epic in your back slot, and epic doesnt stop at teir 3... I learned from experience on this server, wait until all adjustments are made before equipping items because adjustments will be made. Your logic is flawed as I was told before. You cannot look at the difficulty of a mob compared to time invested to go through tiers/complete epics and aug items.
If this item were a couple points above whats currently available even if past event mobs were on par with what was available I wouldn't say anything but 11 base damage over what is currently available in game....is....OP...period. If you search the forum you'll find numerous weapons/items that were nerfed or adjusted for this simple fact and alot of those weapons were the same damage as what was available per tier but were talking 11 base damage AND better slots lmao.
If they were to leave this item as is it would contradict everything the GM's have done and said in the past. I would simply like an official reply from GM's that the item is fine or should be reviewed.

Next reboot you will not be able to obtain these weapons and items since the event is over. And in a week almost completely forgotten about. I have took several things into consideration.
They did not mass flood the server, sure the folks that took time to rally their friends together and take the named down got them maybe several grats to them they were not simple beat downs...heres your item...Next! they would be op if every single player and their alts had them.
Another limitation we as developers have is the donator items not the content items if we feel an event deems worthy of some nice items then fine it shall have them regardless of the tier based items you can obtain as long as we dont push them above the donator items then its obviosly not game breaking. This event was not exactly a walk in the park even some of the max donators were finding difficulty and wiping.
In a few weeks these items will be mostly forgot about and the ones that did obtained them can be proud of their time spent during the holiday event each time they look at them. As far as im concerned they are not game breaking, you cannot get them anymore after today
So to sum it all up I personally feel the event was a huge success, sure it had some minor flaws that were taken care of and an obvious lag issue but for the most part I finally got to enjoy watching the server come together and enjoy the content as a community. For once seeing highend guilds grouping up with other guilds, combining forces to take down named and achieve mass task kills, along with the always so funny "trains and complains" it will be a memorial event indeed and anything obtained during this time will remain as it is. "Final"
Hope you all enjoyed this week

Thanks for the speedy reply and congrats to those who obtained such a powerful weapon.

Instead of complaining, what we/I should be just saying thanks for putting on such a successful event which forced high end guilds to work together and also made a normally unpopulated zone the most popular for over a week. Huge success on the GMs part and huge fun for the players.
Thank you Staff, we really appreciate your work on this server.

Even though I personally didnt try hard enoug to get into the daily open raids and couldnt really get it done with my current characters, I think it went over well. I am sad that I barely missed out on arrows though. Anyhow, the event was a success and Mikuz, I think it worked out great to promote community. Grats on your event being a nice challenge and running pretty smoothly.

great event overall the only thing i have to say is i think next year spreading it into 1 or 2 zones especially if your going to ahve large raid mobs in the zone would probably be best - had alot of lag issues fghting those bosses especially during a zone repop or when there was 40-50 people in there + the raid force.
Also zolz, u can get those same arrows from the trash drops in fear - not really that hard to kill trash if u have a solid group/box team - just gotta be careful cause u can get ALOT of adds quickly (oh and the frogs and scarelings like to gate - just like in classic fear)
