The Hidden Forest

Got this yesterday, and kept casting all i got was spell did not take hold. Took me forever to find out you have to target whomever you want to cast the spell on. I dont know if this was supposed to be self only. I do however think if you try to cast it, and you dont have a target it should say "You must first select a target for this spell"

Mine does say that

Make sure you're not targeting a mob, because it obv. won't take hold if you try to cast it on an NPC.

Also make sure u dont have a ds on. The illu has a 30 some dmg shield to it so it wont stack with things like guard of earth
