question about evolving jewelery and the lore tag

I recently lost a ring in a wired lag/zone bug and been thinking of options to replace it. I currently have my fully evolved Ceribun, The Night Star ring from T8, which is lore. My question is, what would happen if i purchased this ring again from the vendor at its 1st evolve stage? Would i be able to purchase it, since it has a different item ID than the final evolve? what would happen when it final tries to evolve to the final stage? Would it just stop at 99.99%? or would it evolve and then poof b/c i now have 2 lore items?

Or is this frowned upon and i should just try to get a new different dropped ring of a named mob?

Just curious.

Regards,
Sticky

You would be able to use the 2nd ring until it evolved to the final stage, at which point it would either a. Delete the 2nd ring or b. delete both rings. Honestly I'm not sure which would happen but I know I put in the life restrictions to prevent this players from having 2 final evolves of the same item.

T8 can expect an update this weekend to prevent buying multiple items in the same progression path. The only item allowed like that is the bracers, however for the bracers you have to have 1 fully evolved before you can buy the 2nd due to limitations on the code.

i know on live you could have one item at max lvl and a 2nd just one lvl below max at the same time, people would lvl them at same time and sell time as they maxed then max out the 2nd one.

it was a sword that this was done with don't recall the name though.

But that dose not Mean THF has to allow it as well.
