Great item, but the clicky "Protection of the Eye" gives this error when clicked:

"Unknown spell effect 333 in spell Protection of the Eye (id 6245)"

Here is what is looks like on the Alla clone:

When cast on you : You are guarded by the protection of the eye.
When cast on other : is guarded by the protection of the eye.
When fading : An image of the eye flashes through your mind.

Resist : None (adjust: 0)

4 : Effect type : by 6307
5 : Effect type : Increase Absorb Damage by 1500

Not sure what effect type : by 6307 is, but seems to give that error.

It works (I've tested it), but yeah only 1500 rune. The mem wipe after it wears off needs a bump up too imo.

6307 - Protection of the Eye Trigger.

Until we get the custom spells in place and it's not working properly, i can only offer a replacement on the epic.

How about the lez70 Mez? 2 secs cast time, 30 secs cast?

My 2 copper on this item also as I get an enchanter with 1.5.

Rune clicky is nice for chanters and if you want to keep that we could change it to the Robe of the Void clicky effect I got on my Wiz.

With this we would reach a 3K HP rune which is significant & reasonnable on a 1.5 epic as it could be obtained from a SSRAE temple mob. What do you think about that Aarcore / Koeril & Tyler?

Well I like that...3k rune ftw...

I was thinking more about the original protection of the eye spell, and it's memblur ability...I can not recall a single instance where that has been beneficial. I mean, if you want to memblur something, you would memorize the spell, not wait for something to hit you and hope it wanders off (which never happens).

P.S. - Which brings me to another point, why do some attacks go straight through the enchanters rune?? I've been rampaged on, and the fleshy middle gets hit instead of the rune... has anyone else noticed that?? And spell DD's or AE's...they should be absorbed by the rune before hitting the character right??

I did notice that Rune works against melee dmg well when AoE'ing and get summoned but did not work on Vulak AoE (dot).

On the other side, never been really affected by Mem blur as I do not have any pain to get agro back on my war (1.5 with hate aug + Dain's 1HB) with more than 1 taunt, sometimes 2 but it is rare even after mezm/slow/cripple or after charms breaks.

By the way, my enchant is an alt so I would prefer that you deal with Tyler regarding the effect change as you play your enchant as a main and me as an AoE mezm / slow bot hehe.

Enc Epic Trigger on Live was Agro reduction, not blur. Not sure what this equates to on Emu tbh.

As i said, we can talk about replacements. Same goes for all Epics btw.

If you want a 3k rune - i'll browse the current spell file and set that up. I'd rather go for Mez click tbh, but whatever floats your boats ;)

Ok, since no further input was given:

1.5 now has 5 mins recast (60 secs less) 2k rune

2.0 (uses basically same broken effect) now has 3k rune, castable all 60 secs
