Is the +50 Damage Shield a typo on this item or is there a cap to what the damage shield can be on a user? When paired with "Iced Necklace" which casts a Briarcoat on the user, I'm still only seeing mobs take 38 points of damage when attacking me.

I've tried the item in all 3 slots (Primary, Secondary, Range) and still no change.

I made an attempt to search for possible answers but didn't see any. If they're posted already and I'm missing it, I do apologize.

Item damage shield (DS you can get wearing an item) has a 30 cap atm. I'll discuss with the rest of the team the possibility of changing this and actually other soft caps too.

wouldn't it be a hard cap since there are 0 returns exceeding the limit?

Or is it a soft cap because it's a coded variable with a database entry?

pointless question i know.
