City of Mist was a zone added to the THF line up to alleviate some of the heavy traffic we had during the earlier times of the server when many people were all in the 35-55 zones. Initially it was rather sparse with loot or anything to set it apart, however times have changed and recently City of Mist was given a "face lift" and its own quest/task NPC and set of unique loot.

If you've not been to City of Mist lately, you are highly encouraged to go check it out!

Quest mob:

Once you zone into City of Mist via the Fairy transportation system, go past the two-way entrace and Turg is standing against the wall there. Turg can be easily missed if you are in a rush, but he is located at 3, -719.

Quest text:

Turg says, 'Pssst, I'm right here. Can you see me?!'

You say, 'Hail, Turg'

Turg says, 'Uhh, did they notice me?! I'm green like the grass, they shouldn't see me here! Right?! It's not like I'm hiding.. but the Black Reavers are looking for me, they think I stole something from them. Do I look like a thief?! ..anyways, do me a [favor] and I give you something in return!'

You say, 'I'll do you a favor'

Turg says, 'Get rid of the Black Reavers.. I wait for you here.. I mean in the grass.. none can see me here right?! Good luck!'

You have been assigned the task 'Turg the thief.'.

50-55

The task:

Turg is on the lam and the black reavers are after him so of course he wants you to take care of his pursuers. There are a couple ways to tackle Turg's task, the easier long way and the shorter hard way.

First, you could take the safer route of killing the single spawn reaver 15 times. This reaver is located in the first room of the "castle" which, incidently, no longer requires a rogue or bot to pick the lock. This reaver is located at 1, 421.

Secondly, if you are of a more stout heart you could take the more daring quadruple spawn of reavers up the elevator (which also is no longer locked) located at -1, 441. One of these reavers can be pulled single, but the other three will all come at once so be prepared.

Either way, the black reavers are still all pretty tough at level 54 and have the nasty habit of trying to blind you.

Once you've killed all 15 of the black reavers, hail Turg again for your reward.

TIP: Unlike live, black reavers on THF do not chain spawn.
