Trade interrupted - lore problem item deleted.

Doing the turn in on my cleric when a zombie started beating on me and messed up the trade. Got the "lore item" message and my ghost eye was deleted leaving my cleric unable to complete the 1.5 quest. I can easily kill Garanel again but would prefer not to.

Cleric's name is Heqet, and I'm probably going to be clearing to the guy in Seb with the other 2 who successfully turned in.

Nevermind, assumed the wizard wouldn't have a problem. Instead while turning in the first set of stones same deal - trade canceled (no mobs this time) and 2 lore items deleted.

Now 2 chars missing 1.5 items due to random trade cancellations.

This time it's Aesop and I'm not doing anymore 1.5 turn ins without a GM present. =(

I'm not sure what you are doing wrong since the quest works perfectly fine. Do you have the task active? do your toons went through conversation with the NPC (Fangor and Gondon in THF)?

Yeah I've got the quests in my log, just when I'm in the middle of handing the items to Fangor the trade windows closes and I get the "lore item detected" message and quest items are deleted. I'm just really frustrated right now excuse my language =(

We'll take care of it. relog with all toons, then make sure you have the task and done with the NPC vonversations, then let me know what you did lose. Actually, send me a pm plz.

if he is getting LORE message from quest npc- he is trying to give him SOMETHING he is already has.... Perhaps he already HAVE the item the npc trying to give him, its just bugged and he can't see it in his inventory??

Well what was happening is I would hand him all the items at once (in the case of the cleric it was the eyes) and the trade cancelled for no reason. One of the eyes got deleted maybe because like you said the game thinks I've got both an eye in my inventory and in the trade window. Either way relogging didn't fix it and I had to have Lillu's help to complete it. Not sure what was going on.

Might want to double check your bank too. I know with the stones you can't loot them if u have one banked.
