golden badge

so i finally got around to finishing the explorer's badge quest in tipt , finished the bloods killed the big gold dragon and went to turn in and get the gold badge. i hand in the blood to the quest npc he gates out and spawns explorer may and when i talk to her she says give me the silver badge , i hand it to her and she looks confused and hands it back. did i do something wrong? did i bug out the quest somehow? anyhelp would be greatly appreciated as i want achievement points !!

Clearly you need to give her something else along with the silver explorer badge.......

yes and clearly i need to learn to read.....
i can respawn the dragon and loot the blood again but the quest guy wont take the blood again. spent most of the day today afk at the quest guy waiting for someone to spawn explorer may .. guess ill just have to get an alt up to speed and spawn her myself
