problem with two quests

Melkor is unable to complete the Raid Aura Quest because none of the NPCs will talk to him or accept items. Is this due to me having the donor aura? Is it possible to have the quest reset so I can start over on it?

Also, before achievements were fixed I completed the Gold Explorer's Badge and then deleted it unaware I would ever need it for something. After completing the Silver Explorer Quest again, I am unable to complete the gold explorer badge quest.
