There is an issue with the Charm quests. Once completed with Charm 6, Lilly will give you the text for charm 8. Assume because Figgle really does charm 7. So on one of my toons I completed charm 6. did the turn in for charm 8. Lilly took the 4 pieces then asks for the Charm, which does not work since its not the right version. I then completed charm 7 and returned to Lilly who is asking for the 4 turn in pieces again.

Since Lilly does not really have anything to do with Charm 7, maybe there should be some text added to her script so the player knows not to turn in pieces for 8 until 7 is completed.

Short answer: I've fixed this now (after next reboot). But you should be able to hand in your charm 7 to Lilly, regardless of what she says; if you handed in the four foresight items then she'll accept the charm 7.

Long answer:

This is caused by a logic failure that I didn't catch. Charm 7 is indeed separate as you say. So much so that you could start it even if you don't have any of the charms.

Obviously you cannot finish it until you own charm 6 (Figgle needs you to hand it in) but you can start it regardless. As it is totally separate, when you do finish it, it wasn't coded to progress your charm flag, it actually has it's own flag called charm7. When you finish charm 6, your charm flag is 12. What really should happen is Figgle refuses to talk to you until your charm flag is 12. Then what should happen when you complete charm 7 is your charm flag is progressed to 13.

Had it been designed that way, when I came along I would have seen the last charm flag is 13 and Lilly wouldn't offer you charm 8 unless you had that flag.

Sadly, it wasn't that way. Figgle doesn't need you to have any charm flag and only grants you a charm7 flag (sets it to 13 so my guess is this was an oversight). So when I looked at Lilly's quest file I saw charm flag was a maximum of 12, not 13 and created my part of the quest incorrectly based on that. So currently, your guess is spot on.

I've changed it now. Figgle dismisses you unless your charm flag is 12+. Lilly won't give you charm 8 quest prompts unless charm7 flag is 13.

As I said, so long as you've given Lilly the foresight items and she accepted them, you should be flagged and giving her the 7th charm, from Riwwi, should give you the 8th charm.

There may be a new problem. Figgle is now responding with "I'm far too busy for idle chat at this time." when trying to start charm 7. I tried it on a few toons, tried zoning and returning, tried camping. All same result.

1. Yaeger's charm flag is only currently set at the stage prior to the CotW quest; I'm not sure why that is the case if you handed in the four quest items to Lilly successfuly. This means Yaeger would need to do the quest in the CotW again. However, as you've had quite a bit of trouble with this, I set it to the right flag value now so Yaeger can simply hand in the seventh charm now. If it doesn't work, please let me know. PS you can do this now, no need to wait for a reboot - character flags change when zoning/logging in.

2. Figgle: I'm sorry, there was a typo in the quest file for Figgle and he wasn't actually designed to accept quest flags, so I changed that too. It should be fixed now, he works fine on the test server. It'll be fixed on live pending a reboot (please try again after the next reboot - I'll see if we can do one earlier than the normally scheduled reboot next week).

I also just tested Lilly on test and she works as expected.

If you've completed the sixth charm quest (group instance) but not yet completed the 7th (Riwwi), she replies with her generic greeting and won't accept items.

If you've not yet completed the sixth charm, Figgle will now say his generic text about ancient creatures but nothing else.

If you've completed the sixth charm, Figgle will discuss the Riwwi games and allow you to start the quest.

If you've completed the Riwwi games and have the seventh charm, Lilly will speak to you about the 8th charm quest.

I just tested all scenarios on test and it seems good now. While I was at it, I corrected some grammar and spelling in Figgle's script
