The Hidden Forest

Something is not quite right with this quest. I'm having to repeat this quest multiple times because of me learning how to do the quest successfully, which is fine. But trying to do this quest over...trying to get it to reset...just is not working right. Sometimes quest failure results in a toon having the quest get deleted from his Journal, sometimes not. Sometimes there are multiple Jillaa npcs, sometimes not. Sometimes it helps if I manually delete the quest from all my toons, sometimes not. Sometimes it helps to log out all my toons, sometimes not.

One of the failures said that I was taking too much time, yet the quest clearly states that Time is unlimited.

There is no consistency that I can see for resetting this quest.

Oddly enough, after three days of buggy behavior from this quest, I was able to consistently redo this step after failure. Was it because the devs read this post and did some stuff in the background? Or did the zone get reset?

There is still the occurrence of more than one Jilla however. And that step in the quest can still fail due to timing. This last time that I had a time failure, I had only been escorting for maybe 20 minutes. This is NOT enough time for normal players to complete this step. There are around 35 blighted mobs to fight, some of which can be Names. Plus the added time of having to carefully edge around Bazu Terror (if you take the valley route), plus carefully edging around obstacles so as to not have Jilla fail the quest due to the escorting toon being out of Jilla's range. Oh, and don't forget checking the map to make sure you've not taken a wrong turn...its not a small distance between Jilla's starting point and Kupiop.

I did have to finally ask for help from a super monk (shoutout to Usinea). He cleared the way while I focused on the obstacles and on ukun wanderers NOT sneaking up on Jilla.

Might just been a temporary anomaly. Interference in The Matrix if you will.
