The Hidden Forest

Working on the rogue 3.0 and up to the Last Surviving Alaran step. I've read through some conversations on this step in the Discord channels and I've scoured what I'm 99% sure is the correct and zone and found nothing. Any chance I could get a nudge in the right direction or a doublecheck that some trigger or something is being wonky? Thanks!

What's your rogue name ? I'll check if you're up to that point to make sure but to give you a hint.. you are already in the right zone to find the NPC, if you have the flag there's a pretty big visual cue.. So conventional NPC search (via MQ" ) not gonna help..

Unfortunately I'm still completely lost on this step. I'll admit maybe I'm just oblivious to what I'm supposed to see, but I've ran around the zone numerous times and I'm not noticing any visual cues that point me to what to do.

I've also made sure to load my character with any effects and such turned on. I thought maybe since I usually run the box with minimal extras I was just missing something due to that.

Which zone are you in?

Could you give a bit more information about where you actually at with the quest line? What were you doing lastly (zone, quest npcs name, etc) and what was the dialog if any? I'm trying to figure out where you're at so I can give you a proper hint.

I handed the Bloodied Edge Blade from a Cursed Assassin in to the Vision of Decay. This was the last line of quest text, if I go back and hail the Vision of Decay I get the same line.

Vision of Decay whispers, 'I can see that the advisor created the curse to poison the blood of the Alaran. Once they died, their spirits were turned evil and began to terrorise the world. It is the weapon that will enable us to put their souls to rest. There is just one last obstacle in our path, Elithia. You must find the Last Surviving Alaran and trick them into helping you create the tool that will unlock the full potential of this weapon! Do this and you will free me and I will be able to rid this world of the curse!!!!'
