ok, so you couldn't log on the rest of the accounts, because you only set a pw for 2 accounts with the #setlsinfo.

And you couldn't log in, because you clearly still tried to log in over THF LS.

Reinstall is totally pointless, you simply have to change back your eqhost.txt file and log on with your eqemu un/pw as I recommanded below.

ok well i understand that and that is what i did i changed host file back and used user pw to log back in like normal before changing and that is when it wouldnt let any of the char log in including the 2 that was working for. so changing the host.txt didnt work but o well it over with now i did a reinstall

and i am back in game

ok, great to hear. tho you quoted a host file where THF LS was set, not eqemu, why I suggested to simply edit it.

ok, so what happens if u can remember your user name, but not your password? Like I can't log in to use the "reset pw" line lol.

Passwords are stored encrypted, so unfortunately not much we can do. The only way to change password atm is doing it from ingame. The password reminder feature is not implemented yet. (same for eqemu and THF ls)

so in other words all my characters, coinage etc is stuck until the feature is made available, if ever? crud lol well no sense in getting mad over it i guess, thanks for the quick response at least
