and yes, the exact situation you describe can be repeated over and over and over. It just a bug in the animation from swing/proc animation like takes place over the duck one. So if your attacking and duck, you will appear to be standing. But you will no longer be attacking. Now if you press duck again, to un-duck, you will see the animation of your toon standing back up from the duck position and now you can attack or recast.
You will have to work on just ducking counting to 5 or so, then un-ducking on everyone. Just gotta trust that they ducked when you hit duck. If your looking for the animation your going to get off sync and out of your rhythm as they animations do not always work when the game tries to preform several animations in a short amount of time.
Hope this helps.
P.S. you can also walk forward just a bit after ducking while attacking to force the toon into the duck position so you can visually see they are ducking. But it works a lot better to just know that they are ducked and work on getting everyone ducked and then waiting the proper time and un-ducking them and getting back to it. If your trying to make sure everyone is ducked by a visual duck position you're prob not going to get everyone ducked in time.
