Unable to log in, client crashes at loading screen....

Well, to show that it is indeed an issue with the account, and not my files.....I created a new account, and logged in.....no problem. So any account, a new one, my fiance's account, can run on my computer just fine. The account in question though, will not run.

I looked into it. You (somehow?) managed to create a character named Abracadabra, he was corrupted and prevented you from logging into your account. Try to remember what happened there, would be nice to know how that happened.

I deleted the corrupted toon, you should be able to log back fine now.

Wow, that is odd.....I made a new mage, and named it Abracadabra but hadn't played it. I made it the same way I made all the others, just good old character select. So, I have no idea why that toon went wonky.

I get this when I box ~5 toons with the Standard EQ clientin 600x800 windowed mode running mq2.

When one client crashes with this error I am unable to get past the Server Select Screen with any toon on any account until the computer is restarted.

I can run 7+ toons on Wineq without mq2 no problem. For some reason MQ2 will NOT work with Wineq.

This leads me to believe its a memory/dx11/operatingsystem/comp issue.

2nd gen Intel I5
8 gig ram
128gb SSD

After countless hours of trying EVERYTHING EVER MENTIONED ON THE INTERNET EVER ON HOW TO FIX THIS STUPID BUG.

I fixed it.

Only thing that worked was to remove the eqclient.ini file and run eq with no client file. It will create a blank one on start up.

What this does is basically throw out the window literally every setting you have made for your EQ client. Hopefully this setting it gets rid of is what is causing you to crash. Carefully change the EQ settings slowly over time and you can maybe find out what is causing you to crash.

I have had this error once before too, had 10 toons logged in and vent going. 5 of my accounts and vent all crashed at once. Turned out I had a bad stick of RAM, pulled the bad stick and loaded right back in just a little slower.
