Underfoot and Attacking

Hail Noble Adventurer's!
I've noticed, while using UF, that I don't get my little red "I'm attacking this mob" flashing light on my target. Consequently, I sometimes can't tell if I'm attacking until I zoom out and see the action.
Is this something I've accidentally turned off, and don't know how to turn back on?
Any thoughts?

I suspect it has something to do with your UI files. By default there's a file called AttackIndicator.tga in your Everquest/uifiles/default folder. Check if you have the files.
Also, you can try to reload your default UI or if you are using a custom one it can be easily the source of the problem. In this case try your UI with default UI and see if you see the indicator. You can also try to rename your UI_playername_HiddenForest.ini file temporary and load in to check the functionality.

Sounds... easy enough.
I'm not running a custom UI yet, so maybe something didn't load up right. Thanks for the direction to look. I suppose if I load a custom UI it might fix it as well by default, so I guess I have several options.

Ok, I have the attackindicator.tga file in my default ui files folder. I've deleted it a few times, and reloaded it, but I see no changes.
If I load a custom it could possibly fix it, I suppose?

Is this an issue for all your characters? Did you try to reload your default UI?
As workaround you could grab a new Underfoot client from
here and see if you still experience the issue.

Yes, it's a problem for all characters, and I did try reloading the UI, and using others. Some of them had the attack indicator working, others didn't, but none of them really worked for my graphics settings.
the problem isn't huge, but I might try reloading the UF client in a clean download, and taking the attack indicator from there to see if it changes anything.
Thanks for your advice and suggestions
