THFDownloader.exe on network share

Just wanted to share an experience I just had with running the THFDownloader.exe (downloaded from the forum post http://www.thehiddenforest.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=37&t=10393) from a network share where I keep my games.
The THFDownloader.exe downloaded the new exe file, but required a security confirmation to run the new file (Yes / Cancel kind of question). The old THFDownloader.exe (and possibly the latest one also) is not equipped to handle this, and seem to think that it was not able to start the new file. So it tries again, spawning more and more of the confirmation boxes. Killing the whole process tree is the only option to abort.
Since the new downloader was fetched, I can manually move the new THFDownloader.exe (saved in a subfolder in the everquest directory) to replace the old downloader. It then starts just fine.
I'm running Windows 7 if this is relevant. This may only affect running the THFDownloader.exe from a network share.
