SoD login issues

So I’ve got SoD when it was cheap as chips from Steam a while ago.

Didn’t actually download and install till last night.

Set all the emu info up, like changes to EQ host and the eqgame.exe file.

But I cant log into THF. The strange thing is that I can log into EZ server and other servers but not THF

Any suggestions?

Regards

I think Emu login info for SoD is different than THF, as THF's SoD runs off of the private login server. There is a thread with the proper info kicking around here, somewhere.

Edit: Yarr, here is the thread: http://forum.thehiddenforest.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=116&t=3291

If you installed and downlaoded last night, your Steam version won't work anymore with THF. Check eqemu.org, i think Trevius posted about it.

Yes but the product was purchased many months ago as soon as the deal was out. So thats the version i have. It was only installed last night. It was only sheer laziness that stopped me from installing before.

Also it does work becasue like i said above it works with EZ server, now unless someone on that piece of shit server has figured somehow to make that server playable on all update to date versions of EQ then Treviius needs to get in touch with him. Very very unlikely though.

Waiting with baited breath for the info on how to connect to private login...

He linked it, Kron.

Also,

For now, it is recommended not to purchase the Starter Pack from Steam to get the SoD client. Also, for anyone who already has the SoD download from Steam, it is a good time to backup your download before it gets patched if you haven't already.

I still say try Titanium client. If it does not work, then perhaps your account/ip/whatever is banned from this server.
