Avatar Picture Size

Would it be possible to have this size increased? At the moment it is 6k. It's EXTREMELY difficult to shrink down a 90x90 image to 6k. I'm actually surprised I managed to get the one I did shrunk down!

It would be fantastic if we could almost double it to 12k - at least it would allow for some somewhat higher quality avatars be used.
