Do you allow test copies of characters on live?

i just got my main acct setup there, and it dropped my current character list on there automatically. So i have access to my 70's and able to use blank spot to star6t a new character. i assume that i can delete even a lvl 45 or 70 on test and not affect my hidden forest main list?? someone please confirm. i have seperate folders for test and live, etc.

You can run it all out of the same folder (and even be dual-logged into test and live at the same time).

If you start new characters on test, they will just get overwritten by the live DB whenever lillu or tyler transfers it!

Thanks for the info. Will definately keep this in mind. Sorta a shame that I cant develop a different set of characters on test. This will make me keep a deletable slot on any acct that i wanna test from lvl1.

Just create a new account according our private login FAQ and create as many chars as you want.

If you mean moving test server chars to live server, then I am pretty sure the answer will be no.

Not just separate folders, but separate servers / databases. Test can not affect live and back in any way, unless we manually move date from / to.
