It may help to provide the clicky for the zone for those that may not have played the xmas event.
May also help to identify the special object that can be turned in, again for those that did not play event and don't know the drops. Seems strange to offer a possible reward but then not explain how it might be done. Some people may only have a few hours to play so testing might not be high on the list of things to do.

Notes:
New Characters (within the last year) unable to log in. Older characters have to use a previous password(2+ months old)
Ping 100-200ms higher than prod (Guild Hall / Forest / Expedition Zone), normally 134-153ms.
In Valdeholm 200-800ms higher than prod but also tried zoning all 19 char at one time
Used Dark Charm of Travel to try to zone to forest, only 5 made it, rest went to char select as tried to zone 18 char at one time. Even with only 5 it took 5+ sec per toon to get message from fairie that it was sending them to forest from Valdeholm.

Just like with current prod seems to have an issue zoning a bunch of char at same time. During Xmas event would have to zone one in at a time or ping would shoot up to 1-2k, especially if zone was occupied.
Normal zone on prod is 10-15sec. I can zone 21 from VT to Guild Hall in 20 sec.
Single char on test 15 sec, entire raid, 19 char, at once 1+ min.


Raiding - No Issues found
Lock Raid / Unlock Raid
Disband
Add characters
Moved Characters Around


Expedition - Did not find any issues
Started with 4 chars, zoned 1 in, leader able to add another.
Zoned leader in, able to remove char
Leader left zone, came back after a few other zones and could add a player
Both new player and leader could zone into running expedition
Started char on one expedition, left that one, and could not start another as per timer

Named timers appear to work.
Killed name - 1 hour timer. Quit expedition when named should be available.
Started new expedition, named was up. 2nd named timer that was still pending did not spawn.
Named did not spawn in new expedition zone immediately after timer from previous expedition expired.
Quitting expedition took a minute but did remove char from zone but not group.

Its very strange that you had login issues with toons. When I went in with my old characters, I had no trouble. From where they appeared after logging in, I could tell that their toon "copies" had been created just the day before...which would have been around the time of the Valdeholm announcement. Maybe not all toons copies are recent?

I'd like more information about the special drop too. I am already a bit burned out from grinding in HoH, then switching to grinding in NC, and then switching back to HoH grinding. The thought of then switching to grinding in Valdeholm does not excite me. I'd like to have this new content to stay for an extra week, but I just don't know where/who drops it. Is it just the 3 T9 bosses? Or any Tier bosses? Or any trash/named/boss can drop it?

That's great, thanks for the feedback, appreciate anyone who hops on the slow and cranky test server to check things out :) Sounds like for the most part that there're no glaring issues.

I guess the login database on test is out of date so will look to update that. Don't feel obliged to grind on test too much, it just helps us a lot in finding issues before a live push with larger updates like this. Even just a quick dps parse on the dummies and a perusal of buffs to make sure things look ok is super useful too.

The item can drop off the names, and was just a little thing to encourage a bit of testing :)

No issues to report

Tested the following:
Started expedition with char 1-6
Played for 30 min, killing 3 named
Quit Expedition players 1-6
Started Expedition with player 7, unable to add characters 1-6 due to timer lockout as expected.
Char 7 zone into expedition and named spawned
After expedition timer expired tried to add char 1-5 but blocked due to named timers - error message received so you would know exactly why they couldn't join which is nice.
