Underworld undertow - or - Basement Blues - or -sucked under

Seems like the last two days I've had more problems/issues with getting under the floor of the 3D world or attacked by mobs under the floor. In dreadspire, Zi'Thuuli's adds got under my group and chewed on them a few times. I know the ramps in Dreadspire have always had their problems, but the adds from Zi getting under the ramp is new to me.

In Veeshan Peak, Hoskar's Pet, was under the island and chewed on my group.


If there's been a change in 3D scaling / geometry then something needs fixing.

ZT has always had that problem. If you pull the adds out of the room, don't let them path into the geometry of the archways and you should be fine. If they do, you need to pull them back into the room and they should pop back up and then you can pull them back out. I have had that problem a few times and this has always worked for me. Thanks for the comments. Probably that would help if we were grouping it, but I'm boxing it. So far I've beat it about 10 times. But the adds chewing on my boxes's feet is sorta annoying. I tried growing the characters a bit and that seems to help, definitely shrink aggravates the problem. I've yet to try moving the whole group inside and hiding them behind the pillars, not sure if that will block the AE.

Boxing it shouldn't matter as I have many times. Are you talking about the little adds or the big ones? My suggestion was for the big ones. I would pull them out of the room watching to make sure they would path clearly through the archway. If you are talking about the little guys. I have never had a problem with them going very far.

I just fight em all in that room, the stun is a lot easier to deal with than adds under the world.

I do what sticky does. I would run a tank in and park him on ZT's toes to ensure he doesn't beat on anyone else while you mobilize at the start. Then run the rest of your toons into position and do your thing.

In the past, any time I had a heal land when the little gargs spawn (hiding my healers behind a wall) they would beeline straight through that wall and get stuck under the world.

While planning to avoid it... should it ever happen again, you can still /target mobs under the world and sick your pets on them. That was always my last resort.

So far my best strat is to have my casters/healers far back from the entrance, about at the first dip in the direction of the zone in. Most of the little adds will pop up through the floor there, if they are really getting chewed I run them into the room with ZT and have the tank AE taunt them off the caster/healer.
