Hi Vaion

I havnt tried task 1 or 2 since the nerf, so I'll start with task 3:

Task #3

Boss 1: I think you need a perfect setup to kill him before the adds pile up and ejects you from he zone.
Problem: too hard as a gatekeeper to the zone
Suggestion: Lower his HP - 25%ish

Boss 3: Tried him a few times and I think he's on a timer before he DT you. Before the nerf I got him to 2% before he DT'ed my gang.
Problem: too hard for anyone who can get a reward out of the task
Suggestion: Increase the timer before he DT

Task 1 and 2 should be ok. The hardest fight in task 2 involved a melee immune boss (zombie event) but pets might have a harder time killing the adds. Should be doable but extremely hard. Maybe lower the hp of the zombie adds to compensate. Will try it later. Task 1 should be doable as is.


Ps. did I mention I love these tasks? You should consider expanding the concept to be as broad as the LDON

I love these tasks too, and there are still plans to finish the story line/expand them into more content (eventually ;) )


Following changes are live as of now:

o The Chasm Lord's fail timer was set to a standard 8 minutes (increased from 6).
o Arch Lich Xarathu will no longer spawn more adds if there are already 6 or more adds spawned.
o a savage zombie had its HP reduced by 10%.
o Arch Lich Xarathu had its HP reduced by 15%.
Oh the fun you all are going to have in DSK3...

i know a lot is going on right now but regarding these shissar tasks, do you have en ETA on when the rest of them will be released. We had a blast doing the 1st 4.

Some feedback on the changes.

Did 1st task and got haflway through 3rd task and a server reboot was announced. Will go at it again after reboot.

1st task was good. First 2 fights were abit longer but more or less the same. 3rd boss was way more interesting now that the pets doesnt rip him to pieces in no time. Both my dps casters were oom when he died - could have orb'ed but he put up a fight now :)
4th boss was just long. He's spell immune so I went through 2 defensives before he dropped.

3rd task - half way. 1st boss is doable now. Maybe abit too easy. A few more adds + abit more hp on him could be justified. Its less of a burn fight now and you need to control the adds. With only 6 adds they are fairly easy to pin on the tank early on. Maybe more spacing between add spawns would make it more chaotic - but its doable now and I'm looking forward to trying the 3rd boss :)

Spoiler alert!

6 Minutes might be fint. I think I aggroed him while preparing and buffing up! :)
He's rooted and prolly got a huge aggro range. Will test after reboot!

Ps. having great fun! Will try 2nd task at some point as well

Sadly I don't. I wish I could drop everything and work solely on these tasks/content. They were by far one of the funnest sets of quests/zones I have ever made (in my opinion). I have task #5 pretty much done and ready, I just have not had the time to sit down and verify all the quests/items are working properly. Originally, Task #5 was sidelined for the Shadow Haven revamp, but then other projects came up and I just have not had the time to go back to finishing these yet.

Hi Vaion

Something went haywire after last serverreboot.

Tried task 3 - boss 1 twice just now. Close to the end of the fight he spawned zombies galore and I was ported out of the zone twice due to too many adds. Got him to 6% and 2% tho so its doable I guess. Fight was normal for most of the time but in the end the zombie add started spamming and I got ejected.

cool, thanks for the info. Just keep up the great work, we all appreciate all you do for THF. It wouldnt be the great server it is without ya! If you ever need help with anything, testing or w/e, just PM me. I dont play as much as id like right now, but if you need help with something i can set aside some time to help.

Update:

managed to get past 1st boss after a few tried where I got ported out on low health. Some wierd stuff involving spawm spawning af zombies when he gets low health still happens.

3rd boss is surely doable now. Long fight so I was afraid I got close to 8 min mark but managed to down him.

Wiped to last boss. First time I try him and my positioning wasnt tuned in for unresistable knockback so I need a few more tried to say if its doable. I'm sure this fight is fine but just harder than it used to. Going to play some HotS ladder then will be back for another go!
