Maybe you didn't read my thread on Buffer Bloat. What is this, well pretty much every junction that your internet connection has between your machine and the THF server has memory. Most of those junctions, including your NIC, will, if the information they are receiving exceeds their ability to transmit, store that information in memory and then feed it where it was going with the congestion decreases. This is a major source of lag. This lag can be cured...read the thread.

It is kinda like when me and you do the raid. Sometimes she will be at 50% on your end still on some chars while dead on my screen. While she did spike for me during the fight she died when suppose to but on your end you was actually lagging i was only experiencing client side trying keep up with the mobs hp with the amount of dps being thrown at it. I had client side lag you had net mixed with client side causing a hayday. Big diff def with both combined on your end hehe

I've had characters so out of synch that on one character Luclin is dead and on the other she's at 80 percent. It can take the lagged character over 5 minutes for Luclin to finally appear as dead. Needless to say, for that entire 5 minutes, the dps of the lagged character is zip, as she's already dead. Basically I'm just watching a stored animation of the fight, that is already over, play out by virtue of that entire fight being stored in memory somewhere.... most likely buffer bloat.

See thats my thing ive never had that happen to me. When she dies she is dead on all my guys its just the huge spiking while killing a mob going from 100 to 60 then back to 90 to 40 etc just odd spikes once engaged which either memory leak from something i think or client side issue which also most def could be it.

I get your effect sometimes as well with double health figures bouncing back and forth, one for example saying she's at 30 percent and the other at 55 percent. Don't know what is causing it, guessing lag in one of two ways of the game showing her health. I actually get this more often on the twin event...

Someone needs to test this without pets I think. So 45 rangers should do it. I reckon then there'd be no lag at all ;)

I don't think there are 45 rangers on the whole server, let alone VT flagged :P

Possibly testing DPS against a guild hall parse dummy with about 10 characters, maybe 5 of which have Draekon pets. Test with and without the Draekon pets.

Yep....definitely something to do for those bored.
