Hello,

Attempted to play around in Frostcrypt tonight. There were 64 players in T9 instance. Ping went from 140 to 2400. Any way the zone could be made a raid instance like VT or the Polar Bear event? It doesn't stop people from playing together if they want but should cut down on lag when too many people try to use a zone that is only open for a limited time and trying to learn the fights.

I second this idea. Trying to fight the giants below is really tough when I can't cast my spells smoothly, and characters are running around due to lag. Would be nice to have the option to just solo box the content or group up for it. If bosses become camped, some people might not even get the chance to learn them.

I can take a look, although do bear in mind this is zone aimed at groups not raids.

Not sure if intended but as i did Frostcrypt the first time some rooms could be a bit icky with mass pulls, now it seems after you did the no Coth and see invis a pull that start with only 3 Giants a few seconds later you end with half the Room or lets say those rooms with 2 floors you end up with the whole first floor.

Not sure if this post should be here in Frostcrypt, or in the Items category, but...

One of my guildies says his new necklace, Dark Ice Necklace of the Crypt (item 123387), cannot be cast from inventory (he has it on a hotkey).

Also, he pointed out that a T6 bp, Ancient Ice Aggressor's Tunic (item 123368) and just about the same clicky as the Dark Ice necklace yet its recast is 30 seconds. The T9 necklace has a 5 minute delay. Shouldn't a T9 be better than a T6?

All the jewellery clickies are equip only, caveat of them being decent items, tradable and usable from level 1. As for the clicky, the neclace is a unique spell "Deep freeze concussion" only found on that item and reduces hate by a far greater amount, sort of an emergency hate reduction.

Was more aimed at my rogues who are both Donor Whores - the necklace is fantastic but having to equip this neck to lower aggro on a burn is just not practical .

I have noticed something weird with my usual 3-group of Shadome, Jaton and Phibes. All three have the Dreekin T9 portal item 123449 but I almost always use only the one on Shadome and it has worked just fine.

This morning, I noticed that when I use it, only Shadome and Jaton port...Phibes is left behind. And, when I click Phibes's, the item does not work unless I ungroup him.

The only notable change I have done with those three toons is that I got Shadome the boss crypt key and the Dreekin port from both T6 and T3 so that now he can port and get to the bosses in all FC tiers.

None of my guys are in raid.

Ok, the port item fail seems to be intermittent.

I have been in two T6 boss fights and the corpses had no loot. According to my guildies, they never have. Is this known? I assume that the three T3 bosses also have no loot.

Does Clawhammer have a loot list?

Perhaps this will change for next year?
