[FIXED]Aggro problems since last update

Hello, My SK (Rigz) seems unable to hold aggro at all since the update. I did a few tests where I pulled a couple of mobs and did nothing but cast Dread Gaze, Beholder Gaze Rk. I and the ToV legs, then healed once and the cleric/shaman whoever I tried with pulled aggro immediately. Even on single targets I'd lose aggro straight away to Rogue/Zerker/Monk.
Seems it was mixed on OOC with some reporting problems and other saying all is well... definitlely having issues here though... Maybe client? I'm on Underfoot.
Any ideas?

My SK has always had to fight for aggro if there was a heavy hitter in the group ;( Keep in mind that gaze is a % hate increase, not base #. Best to build up a little natural aggro first then hit AE. I spam all 3 AEs (2 gazes + tov legs) + single target hate with visage up and still lose aggro to Sticky when he half halfheartedly tries

Lack of heal procs is the problem I think, lifetaps generate very very little aggro

I'm talking about 1 single heal pulling aggro after 3 or more AoE's amounting to more then 5k worth of hate. It never behaved like that before the update.

Ok, decided to test and see. You're right, something is borked. Logged SK in, went to chardok with SK/Cleric. Pulled a handfull of mobs without sword on to avoid riposte damage+taunt. Was skeptical at first so I only cast one AE and then a heal, cleric instantly got aggro. Stood there and chain casted t8 AE+dread gaze+tov legs, over and over and over, cleric doing nothing after that first heal. SK never got aggro back (this was with donor sword+aug back on). Will run some more tests.

Found the problem. Has something to do with the change made to auras (aggro related.) With cleric+sk in zone I have stronghold and glyph wielder up. If SK had an aura on, his AEs did practically zero aggro. Once auras were clicked off, AEs acted as normal. Did an #auracast, went back out and gathered up a few mobs again, repeated AEs over and over, pulled back. Once cleric did 1 heal it stole aggro. To make sure I wasn't seeing things, I clicked off auras again, gathered mobs again, did AEs (2 of each, so 6), and SK held aggro as per usual. Definitely aura related

Ahh there you go then, good investigative work

I only have the solo aura on my SK so must be happening with that too.

Hope that gets fixed soon

Else I'm either blocking all auras on SK or sticking with warrior for a little bit

(was wondering why my cleric kept dieing on mass HoH pulls, lol)
Edit: Tried it again, this time with auras up and used only T8 evolved sk BP clicky (Uthinra's Breastplate of Reaping) and SK successfully held aggro after multiple heals. Note: Cleric has 2.8 aggro reducer in donor weapon. Heals cast were Faithful Light Rk. II, and donor 2.0 clicky.
Edit Edit: Logged Fenkenn in to test his AE aggro. Used 1 cyclone blade as test. First try was with no auras except donor aura, no sword (to avoid riposte aggro), it held aggro from cleric for many heals. Second test was with donor aura + glyph/stronghold. Again, no sword, used 1 cyclone blade. Cleric took aggro on first heal. Had to melee with KoL2 procs to take AE aggro back. 3rd test, all auras, no sword, instead of using cyclone blade I used donor war BP clicky once. It held aggro just fine.

Aye, the issue came to my mind about 3-4 hours ago while at work. There will be a reboot tomorrow that should fix the issue. I am also pretty positive that the recent desync issues have been from a similar issue with Auras. Nothing was changed majorly in the code in December except the Aura aggro and I think I know why players have been desyncing on zone-in due to it.
Hopefully both will be fixed tomorrow with the reboot.

Edit: Did this include your fix regarding raid auras while zoning? My toons with the graphics enabled appear to be zoning much faster
