More of a couple questions than anything else. I just noticed a few moments ago while doing some testing that the short duration buff limit on pets (7) is smaller than that on players (?). Noticed this when I was glancing at the pet buff window and bard 2.0 clicky wouldn't land, so I started weaving up a series of other song buffs and noticed none would land after the 7th, whereas on players I've gotten 10 so far (straining to find more short duration buffs for my player that I can test the limit on with mystats/etc.)

My question: is this difference intentional? Did the Chaotic Attuning AA's inadvertently increase player's limit while, for obvious coding reasons, skip the pet? Or is this difference just something that's been default forever and I've never noticed? I've always been curious about short duration buff limit, but never really pushed it, and every time I've asked other players they seemed to not know

Edit: I'm just glad I found out early, because I plan to weave my bard back into my mix and having certain songs not landing on pet is a big difference in DPS Thank god I'm on UF and can block individual buffs/songs on pet

I believe it was changed as there was a crash issue with pets and short duration buffs.

Thought limit on pets was 10, I know THF has almost completely customized its source by now but I thought source default was 10.

As for players I think I've gotten up to 13.

Pet definitely wouldn't go past 7.

Considering this is the only server I have ever heard of having to limit that buff type to 7, its no wonder I dont bother to use search.
Localized, server specific issues like this I lump into the category of "stock source is X but here its probably Y so wait for staff to respond".

I don't even get my bard epic clicky. Even when I get rid of numerous short duration buffs. It doesn't show up in my characters short term duration buffs. I get the Shaman epic when I do burn cycles but the bard doesn't seem to take hold.

I'm not sure if this is just for me or everyone else. Would like to know more.

As for the short term duration, I use all 6 raid aura's. As I am buffing I go through and click off the witchdoctor aura and the blood mage aura from my pets as my bard is singing. It will fill their buff slots with the songs I want. It's a pain. But it works.

Well since the limit on pets is 7, and you block 2 of your 6 auras, I'm also assuming bard is singing? You'd only be able to sing 2 songs and still get 2.0 click to land on pet. I'd suggest blocking more auras/songs on pets (defensive ones, etc.) Pretty small limit, but it looks like we have to deal with it

I'm not sure that my pets even get my bard epic click. I do not see the buff landing on any of my characters or pets. I will try it this evening and see what happens but as far as I know my pets aren't getting my Shaman epic click that my other characters are getting as well.

Make sure you're not currently singing with your bard when you're clicking the bard epic.
