when sosten and i decided to revive <and his amazing friends> i had a toon in the guild and had him promoted to leader because the actual leader hasnt logged in for over a year and a half.

the problem is when i try to make bankers or promote some it says i cant because im not the guild leader.


any thoughts on how to fix?

Iirc you had to be in the same zone to promote. Banker I don't think so, but I could be wrong.

Still doesn't solve your not leader problem though /shrug lol.

Is this an instance where the guild has multiple players flagged as leader? I know that causes a lot of issues.

I was unable to pass leadership, set bankers, etc myself. Had to get Lillu to demote me so that I could do *anything.*

no the old leader was listed as an officer after i took it over.
i even kicked out the old leader thinking that was the issue and it didnt work

Hmm. Perhaps something got borked server-side in the leadership shuffle? My only advice would be to get Lillu to look at it and assign L to the toon that needs it, then try again

In my case, it was the fact we had 2 leaders, which is apparently a UF feature unsupported by the server code, so one of the leaders (me) was denied access to those rights. (couldn't demote myself, pass leadership, set bankers, couldn't even disband myself from guild) The other toon (I logged him in, that toon was the original sole leader of the guild) was able to perform all functions normally.

Perhaps when development slows down, someone can look into tweaking this? Hope you get it worked out, guild bankers is a horrible feature to lose (after I got used to it, I loved it )

Yeah Newer clients can have several leaders. Think I have 3 flagged as L on Tunare that I have not logged in since just after seeds was released.

Sounds like something just got borked and best bet is to PM the staff and ask them to fix it.
