I don't know whether or not this is an item issue or spell/casting issue. Im playing a warrior in alt p. Have a clickie gauntlet with a dd that is .1 cast time and 3 min reuse? and boots that have local ae dd centered on caster with 3 sec cast time and 1 min reuse. If I use one and leave both alone for a few minutes, I can use either. BUt if I hit one, then try the other, im getting recast timer not met msg, spell interrupted, and the visual timers on the hotkeys act weird, and at that time reset? If I wait 3 min im guessing, I can click either one, repeat.

Looking to see if others are having any issues serverwide, or if its just one of my items. Ill repost or add reply here with links when allaclone is up(it might be up now, but I just woke up, so my brain isn't up yet .

If the effects share the same reuse timer then that would explain it. That or you're clicking too quickly and a couple seconds delay would help.

Well, both are on recast timer 10. I will bug the boots with the visual timer issue after alla clone is back up. Otherwise, I guess im stuck using them for 2 situations as needed. The ae is about 92dd, and targetdd is 72, so they aren't too far off, but both are handy in many fights with adds.

There's a great deal of items that don't display the visual cool down correctly. I have also noticed an item is on visual cd and then after zoning it shows ready, but clicking returns recast not met. Relying on the recast type is best.

My experience with the Underfoot client taught me that clicky items will never show the cooldown in the GUI if the cast time is > 0.1 seconds. For the most part, that means your instant cast clickies will usually display correctly and nothing else will. Typically the GUI timer is reset when zoning, so it's a good practice to not rely entirely on what the client shows you.

Ultimately, the server knows best, so when in doubt, you can just try clicking the item and the server will attempt to cast it and let you know if it failed because of a timer.

Thanks, using Titanium, but I have to agree with everything said here. I still have hope for the visual to work right one day. So, if there is no need to post, I will just hold off. Thanks for the input fellas.
