Issue with Patcher

Anyone else getting issue with patcher?

Symantec Sonar sees it as issue and deletes the file when it is trying to update.
Added to exceptions list and now getting .Net Framework exception error and never updates - this appears to be a firewall issue but since every time I try to launch the downloader it adds another folder I can't make an exception.


Attempted to download again from website and same issue.

Aye Symantec is picky with it because of the way it downloads the updated file. The best way to handle it is to add your EQ folder to the exemption list. This will make Symantec ignore the download process entirely.

Symantec flags the file simply because so few people on their network services use it. I have submitted a request for a reputation check on the file and hope to hear from them soon which will stop the service from flagging the patcher files.

Avast checked it as it downloaded, and said it was clear. After that the update worked fine.

That worked, had to add a folder or two as well since RoF client was missing the default UI
