War Aggro

Since the new code my War Belv has not been able to hold any aggro on a mob. He's Teir 9 with war 3.0 and when i click Hoh War bp, 3.0, and the Lucid Ring of Crimson Bull my non donor tier 7 rogue nondon0r tier 7 light Zerker (doesn't even have weapon Fully augmented) and even my bard can instantly pull aggro on engage and when i click donor legs i can get it back for a sec and lose it again. Before the new code he had little problem keeping aggro off fully donor'd rogues. I haven't changed anything in his gear since new code.

Could this have something to do with the problem with Focus Effects?

Any more info you need or specific testing i can do to help let me know.

Sorry, was linking a petition, my bad.

Here's my reply to that similar bug report:

I believe some focus effects are still broken, including echo of anger and other agro modifiers so the noticable difference could be easily because of this. Please bear with us until we can confirm that they are working properly again, then we can make adjustments if needed.

He's linking my petition, Belv. I must have forgotten to mention I submitted one when we were discussing it earlier. My bad!

I failed to find anything strange in my testing. A warrior vs another melee were pretty close in the hate race when using fists and also when wielding Fine Steel weapons. Adding weapons with hate procs caused the warrior to soar ahead and hold aggro. Adding a (worn) Echo of Anger item further increased the gap.

I then tested hate generated with +hate spells, like the Anger procs and clicky hate items (shields) and they work well, and are definitely affected, in a good way, by Echo of Anger.

Full gear/buffs the warrior easily outdoes a donor zerker in hate generation. I'd like to observe a boss fight some time so I can pinpoint a cause if either of you two are willing. Just PM me if you're around and I'll look for you if I'm home and can hop online.

Update: found the issue.

Hate modifiers, when enough of them are stacked cause a SHARP reduction in hate generated by every attack/spell/ability.

[Awaiting confirmation from more testing]
In the scenario I tested, a mix of focus/worn versions of Echo of Anger V+ pushed it too far. 120% tested okay, but 150% caused breakage. Until we get a fix live, I'll heartily recommend that you do not exceed the 120% mark between worn / focus / spells combined. Thanks for the patience. Looking into a fix now.

So are all the worn versions of echo of anger stacking or is it taking just the highest one of those then adding the spells and such?

Certain worn effects stack with other worn effects in an additive way. 3 items that do a 40% hate mod net you a 40 + 40 + 40 = 120% bonus.
Focus effects do not stack with other focus effects of the same type. Greatest wins. (This also applies to the majority of worn effects, as well.)
Focus + worn of the same type will stack together.

On Belvino, for instance, you have

Worn: 40% belt, 40% ear, 40% range
Focus: 30% legs

and maybe some more that I didn't see yet, but you're easily at 150% aggro mod before you even factor spells in. I'd take off one of the 40% items to be safe until we find and fix the issue.
