Fairies and other NPC no longer respond to /hail

Character: ALL (8 total tested)
Zone: Hidden Grove
Grouped: Yes
Bots: No server bots / Yes to MQ2 bots

Issue: Ported back to grove normally. Went to go leave and fairies no longer responded to direct location in /say or hail, /hail when targeted. Other NPC in the zone also no longer respond to hails. Right clicking on a merchant worked normally.

Not sure how to reproduce....

Had same thing happen to me. Automatically resolved after a day. No idea why...

Make sure you are not invisible we saw this once before and that was the issue.

Our NPC editor is still out of service since the update so we haven't been able to make the fairies see invis just yet, but it's on the to do.

Very well could be invisibility. I had bard song up and I think it has an invisible component.

I will update this post if I reproduce and verify that invisible was not the cause.

Aye let us know. Good news too, I was able to track the issues with our npc editor and have it operational again. Will work on making them see invis for the next reboot.

wasn't invisibility for me, affected 5 raid members others were fine.

Vaion did this nice fix on 30 July:

NPCs:
o All NPCs in The Hidden Forest now see invis.

This wasn't some of my guy's problem.They don't see hidden folks still---always need to make sure rogues have very recently moved. One rogue is particularly good at hiding and always needs to be separately moved to hail fairies etc.
