THF patcher

Hi, I have tried using the THF downloader/patcher but it says not compatible please contact administrator, I am using windows 10 64 bit, I tried running it as administrator, I tried compatibility mode using win 7, vista & 8 with same results, it will open but when I browse to my EQ folder where my games is (which I also extracted the patcher to also) I hit save and it just exits immediately. I ran a test for compatibility from microsoft and it says this program is not compatible with win 10. Is this true? I also do have the latest .NET framework 4.5.1 or higher installed too so can someone please tell me if can or cannot work in windows 10? and what I can do to try to get it to work? thanks!

Heya, What is not compatible? The patcher for the OS or the client for the patcher?

the patcher for the OS, Microsoft scanned the THF downloader and it comes back with the message "incompatible program" I have tried running it in compatible mode for 7, vista and 8 with no luck, it worked fine on my old pc using windows 7 but I can't get it to work on win 10, I'm using the Titanium client also. Any ideas? thanks

Sorry but no idea on Win 10. Hopefully some players can chime in with more experience. I think Rafe uses it based on
this post?

I can play the game with no issues, logon, choose my toon and play and works great..I just can't use the THF updater to get updated files ie; spell.txt ...Is there any topics that like you used to have that someone like me can just download and replace in my EQ file manually? until we can figure out what the problem is? I mean the spell.txt file is only like 48kb's so if you could just make a topic for "manual install" of any updated files it would just be such a great help
until the issue can be fixed or resolved...Is that possible? Please? thank you again & I'm sorry to be a bother...
