Caramel Apple Aug + Shawl of Drizku = eaten aug

Title says it all... Placed Caramel Apple (about 1/2 completed) into Shawl of Drizku on Necro at guild aug pool and the aug just vanished (and the current slot 8 aug "Stone of Tranquil Order" was removed and returned to me leaving the Shawl without augs).
Just thought I would note it...

Ironically, went and retrieved a new one from Alfrid and it went in without an issue... Go figure...

I've had the strange experience on rare occasions in N. Karana of having several items disappear from inventory only to have them reappear after relogging...for example forest portal aug has complete disappeared and then reappeared.... IDK...
